omfg ikr. i bring up something like the happy birthday call from silent hill 3 or how much I love the robbie scene from silent hill 4 and the so-called fans i try to talk to are like “WAAAAT. LOL PYRAMID RULEZ.”

Hahaha, oh my god. Every time I’m like ‘I love Silent Hill!’, people are like ‘lol i love that movie’ 

There are just so many things I want to talk about to people, like symbolism and parts that actually scared me… but nope.

As part of a collage sort of assignment of important items to us for my Drawing class, I drew the case of Silent Hill 1. During critique, nobody knew what it was - unsurprising - but somebody asked with a wrinkled nose, “Silent Hill? Isn’t that some… vampire movie?”

Where are all the SH fans, I know you guys are out there, but WHERE. Honestly.

Silent Hill fan right here. And I’m proud to say I’ve never fangirled over Pyramid Head. Problem is that sometimes people don’t take me seriously because I truly love SH4.

But, bb, SH4 wasn’t so bad. I liked Walter and Henry and Cynthia.

And Pyramid Head just creeps me out and give me nightmares, I swear.

Well, I know Murphy’s voice actor is David Hayter but it doesn’t make me any less impressed. In fact, I’m truly amazed by the voice acting in Downpour as a whole; the characters sound like human beings and it’s truly impossible not to empathize with Murphy throughout the game. Oh, and with Officer Cunningham as well, once you learn what’s really going on with her.

Maybe I just surround myself with more positive SH Fans, but all the reviews I’ve heard from fans that surround themselves by the series on a daily basis have been really good. In fact, even if they weren’t OVERJOYED by the game, they would atleast say they liked where it was going now.

I wish people would stop treating Book of Memories like its a main-vein Silent Hill title. Its an offshoot title. Like say, Final Fantasy Tactics is to the main Final Fantasy titles.

OP, have you at least played Downpour? Or just read “a bunch of mediocre reviews” on IGN? Cause everyone I know who played this game said it was amazing and Donwpour is now one of my favorite, right after Silent Hill 2.

Please, PLAY THE DAMN GAME before say things like that, and PLEASE, stop to talk in name of “a lot of fans” cause I haven’t seen more than one or two that haven’t even played Downpour and said it was a bad game and they do prefer Homecoming or something like that.

And Book of Memories? Really? Like the person above said, it’s a spin-off like Final Fantasy Tactics and Crystal Defender are to Final Fantasy serie.

Maybe I’m also surrounded by optimistic people cause I’ve seen ever some who wants a sequence with Anne Cunningham’s point of view and you’re just reading the wrong “mediocre reviews”, dude.
